BRIEFING SESSION

The briefing session is held prior to the ceremony and is a mandatory element that all candidates must attend.  

This session provides background information about the ceremony, a brief explanation of the elements of the ceremony and what is expected of the candidates during the ceremony.  

If you do not attend the briefing session, you will NOT be permitted to participate in the actual ceremony and you will NOT be eligible to receive an iron ring. 

This year Camp XIII will be hosting the briefing via Avenue to Learn (McMaster University on-line learning platform).  The content will be presented as a 'course' which each candidate must complete on their own.  The 'course' will take ~45 min to complete.  You will receive further information regarding registration for the course by the end of January.  The course will be available from mid-February to March 6, 2026.  Again, you must complete the course in order to attend the ceremony and to receive your iron ring.
